Princeton University Disc Golf
18 Holes - Par 67
Hole 1 |
Par 3 |
|
![]() |
Hole 1 begins behind Nassau Hall in the circle of rocks surrounding the cannon. The hole is the Picasso on the left in front of the Art Museum. The toss between Whig and Dodge is fairly straight-forward, but be careful of the trees. The disc must hit the shaft or the top of the sculpture, not the base. |

Hole 2 |
Par 3 |
|
![]() |
Hole 2 begins at the base of the Picasso and curves around the front of McCormick to the small metal statue on the right side front. Again, low hanging trees and bushes make this hole more difficult than it first appears. Try a slight left curve or simply a long straight toss. Note also the sharp drop to the left of the target into the stairwell. |

Hole 3 |
Par 3 |
|
![]() |
Throwing from the statue, the target for this hole is the lamp post on the other side of McCormick, closest to the building. The player must throw through the archway to the left. A good rebound off the outside edge of the archway can help improve distance. Any part of the lamp counts, but, as always, style points are awarded for hitting the top with a scoober. |

Hole 4 |
Par 3 |
|
![]() |
Hole 4 covers a relatively short distance, with a simple twist. Starting at the lamp post, the disc must be tossed between the tree and the lamp post to the left of the courtyard. If the disc goes way out of bounds, cutting back through the tree and the lamp is allowed. The final destination is the proctor's door on the corner of McCormick. The disc must make contact with the wooden portion of the door to score. |

Hole 5 |
Par 4 |
|
![]() |
This hole begins on the third stone out from the parking lot. A long hole, the final target is the 1903 archway leading into Walker Courtyard. Curve the disc around the left of Brown and through the narrow tunnel into the 1903 Courtyard. This throw can be difficult due to the tight squeeze and the branches that surround the entrance. Be careful of the gutter to the left of the path between Cuyler and 1903. |

Hole 6 |
Par 4 |
|
![]() |
A simple, but tricky hole. Starting from the center of the 1903 Courtyard, the goal is to land the disc on top of the small rock "table" to the right of Feinberg. Note the metal bolts on the table's surface, as they can help stop the disc from sliding off. Veterans are known to attempt the hammer over 1903 and will even allow a second attempt for free. |

Hole 7 |
Par 4 |
|
![]() |
Hole 7 begins on top of the rock table and goes down the stairs between Feinberg and Walker Hall, into the Wilson Courtyard. In the middle of Dodge Osborn is an underpass, on the other side of which is a lampost next to a set of stairs. Best bet is to start with a long straight throw, don't worry about the curve, but watch out for the volleyball net which is known to come out of nowhere. |

Hole 8 |
Par 4 |
|
![]() |
Hole 8 begins behind the metal fence to the left of the stairway, with the final destination as the stairwell leading into the Rock Magnetism Lab. The first throw will most likely be a hammer over several trees, the second a left curve around Eno. Trees surrounding the stairwell can block a long toss, hammering over Eno is possible but not recommended. The disc must touch the bottom of the stairwell to score. |

Hole 9 |
Par 5 |
|
![]() |
Hole 9 begins at the top of the stairway of the Rock Mag Lab. By far the longest hole on the course, the front nine ends at the Butler phallus. A hammer or a high forehand is most likely to clear the trees behind the Lab, but watch for a few scattered trees before reaching the sidewalk. A series of straight tosses should reach the target, and try to slide the disc along the ground. The Wild Wu Cafe is open from 10 pm - 1 am for snacks if necessary before beginning the back nine... |
