On October 22, 2002, we embarked on a journey to build the best Search and Rescue Robot possible for MAE 321, Engineering Design.  With the goal of "Versatility and Reliability through Innovation," we set to work.  Three months later, we produced "The Wangdoodlerest" that expanded the horizons of design.  See below how "Wangdoodlerest" navigated an obstacle course, climbed over a 12" wall, completed a drag race, and returned home with only the help of a flashlight at the end of a hallway.
